Greetings
So, I've decided to start a blog. First of all... how can someone get in such a pickle deciding which blogging website to use? Second of all, which style design to go for, I've been here for hours before I've even started writing, honestly! Anyway, here I am. I am aiming to focus this blog on my seesaw-like life at University. Some may be life full filling posts, and no doubt some will be just bore you to death. Hopefully some of you souls out there will find it interesting! Bare with me, as I'm a blogging-fresher as you will, but I'm a quick learner! Thanks for reading!

DAVID WALLIAMS CAUSES TWITTER OUTRAGE AFTER PRESSING GOLDEN BUZZER FOR 'SEX BOMB' SINGING CHRISTIAN SPRIDON
Controversy struck Twitter after Britain's Got Talents show on April 19th. Christian Spridon passionately took to the stage and sang Tom Jones' Sex Bomb, after Simon, Alesha, and Amanda pressing their buzzers, Christian continued to sing, and David continued to get the audience on their feet by dancing and singing along. After Davids attempt to protect his buzzer from the other judges, Alesha managed to reach it and stop Christian mid-performance, and all four buzzers were red. However, David decided to hit the golden buzzer, sending Christian straight through to the live shows. That Saturday night, there was an uproar on Twitter, some extremely disappointed that a so-called 'talentless' act has got the opportunity to be on the live shows, but others believe that it was the best moment of Britain's Got Talent ever. Here are some of the responses to the golden buzzer incident on Twitter:
New headlines have revealed some of Christian Spridon's dark sides, but has this made David regret his golden decision?

10 Most Annoying Things About Being A Barmaid
1. DRUNK PEOPLE ARE VERY UN-FUNNY
The drunk people you think are hilarious when your drunk too, are in fact the most unfunny people in the place.
2. EVERYONE ASSUMES YOU'RE DEAF
Assuming you are hard of hearing people insist on getting kiss-close to you and screaming/spitting drinks orders down your ear.
3. YOU WILL BE WHISTLED AT… LIKE A DOG
When people are so desperate to be served next, they presume you will react to their whistle like a meerkat on the lookout.
4. MY EYES ARE UP HERE!
When serving somebody who has already downed at least 8 pints, amazingly, your face seems to be on your chest all of a sudden…
5. BARMAID/PSYCHIATRIST
When you apply for the role as a barmaid, psychiatrist skills should be included. There is always an emotional wreck desperate for some advice.
6. JAGERMEISTER CAN INFACT, GLUE YOUR ARM TO THE BAR.
If people can't decide what to drink, Jagerbombs seem to be the standard plan B, but end up all over the bar after the Tsunami of Jager being dropped into RedBull.
7. WHEN PEOPLE ORDER ONE DRINK AT A TIME
They wait for one to come, then order the next, and the next, and the next. WE HAVE TWO HANDS!
8. CLOSED MEANS CLOSED
There is always that one person that begs for another drink after the bar is shut, as he claims he isn't even drunk - but his texts would definitely spell: jkawiujdfbmszd.
9. WHEN PEOPLE ORDER A TALL DRINK & COMPLAIN ITS TOO WEAK
People are surprised when they ask for more mixer that the alcohol doesn't taste as strong, thats what you asked for, dumbass.
10. GETTING BEER IN YOUR HAIR
That stuff literally gets everywhere, you finish work stickier than a pig at a royal wedding.

Pastels are the new black
Walk with a spring in your step and spring in your wardrobe with the latest pastel colours. You may think that pastels aren't the easiest colours to wear, and 'ooh thats too much for me', and it might not be for everyone. But... you can definitely enhance your style and be on everyones fashion radar if you sprinkle a bit of lilac, lemon, mint, baby pink or baby blue into your everyday outfits. If buying a bold garment such as baby-pink jeans is too much, express yourself with accessories, a simple bag, hat or even a scrunchy can make you stand out. At the moment its that sort of weather where its too cold to go without a coat, but at the same time its too close to summer to go about in your fluffy parka coat. Why does mother nature challenge us like this? So don't forget… light denim is also a pastel! Who knew? An oversized denim jacket is a qwerky and trendy way to stay warm in this cold spring wind. This weather will also be the same around Autumn, which means that the pastel trend won't fade out as soon as summer comes, it will come back and back again. So don't feel regretful if you impulsively spend your months wages on pastels. Its worth it, you'll be walking down the street with daisies spurting from you, much like a washing detergent ad (and thats a good thing).

A MONTH SINCE THE MYSTERIOUS DISAPPEARANCE OF MALAYSIAN FLIGHT MH370
Families of the missing passengers mark a month since MH370’s departure.
There have been erroneous reports of debris being discovered in the Indian Ocean, but after investigation, its been said to be nothing more than “ocean junk” according to Sky News. These false leads have been distracting and sidetracking the search teams in the rapidly expiring time left to detect the aircrafts black box signals.
The world is deep into speculation regarding the planes disappearance, Houston assures the public that “authorities have not ruled out mechanical problems as a cause of the planes disappearance, but the loss of communications suggest it was deliberately diverted” reports The Independent. Acting Transport Minister Hishammuddin Hussein claims that the Malaysian Government has “nothing to hide” and that they are “cautious” about audio signals picked up by search teams. “I know there will be answers. I know we will find the plane – it is just a matter of when,” says Hussein according to the BBC.
Houston supports: “we are encouraged that we are very close to where we need to be,” reports The Telegraph. Search teams are using the underwater drone Blue Fin 21 to scour the seabed up to 4.5km deep, which is the same equipment used to find the wreckage of the Air France plane that crashed in the Atlantic three years ago. It will dive at least 4500m below sea level, which is further than the final resting place of The Titanic.
Variations of conspiracy theories have divulged, even going as far as alien abduction. Although there have been a few suspicious occurrences, such as the two passengers with stolen passports, the passengers phones still ringing, and the fact that no debris has been found. Most recent reports suggest that flight MH370 didn’t crash at all, that passengers could still be alive and being held hostage. Russian Newspaper The Moskovsky Komsomolets apparently claimed, “All the passengers are alive, they have been divided into 7 groups and are living in mud huts with almost no food. 20 passengers who were Asian ‘specialists’ have been smuggled into a bunker in Pakistan,” reports The Sun. The Moskovsky Komsomolets has a circulation of 1.1 million its new disclosures have had a profound effect on the worlds suspicions.
It also reported that “flight MH370 Malaysia Airlines missing on March 8th with 239 passengers was hijacked by unknown terrorists. We know that the name of the terrorist who gave instructions to pilots is ‘Hitch’, the plane is in Afghanistan not far from Kandahar near the border with Pakistan.” If these scandalous claims have no truth, the newspaper The Moskovsky Komsomolets has been extremely unhelpful by giving false hope to the public and especially to the families of the missing passengers. However, there have been further claims that the plane may have landed on the remote island Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean. “A leaked report in the US suggests the CIA held high value detainees on the British territory with the full co-operation of the UK government. The claims contradict repeated denials that Britain had ever let the US use Diego Garcia for the extraordinary rendition of terror suspects,” reports The Daily Mail. Even further discoveries reveal that “Investigators reveal MH370 co-pilot Fariq Abdul Hamid tried to make a call from his mobile phone after the aircraft vanished but was abruptly cut off as US deny reports that the plane has landed in their remote military base,” also reported The Daily Mail. There will be a never-ending wave of new ‘discoveries’, ‘conspiracies’ and ‘potential answers’, but realistically the truth will not be fully revealed until passengers or wreckage is found.

Four weeks have passed since flight MH370 suddenly vanished off Malaysian radars. In these coming days approaching the 8th of April, desperation to find the missing flight has intensified, as the batteries of the black box located on the aircraft are said to be running out. “The flight recorders of the Boeing 777 emit a ping that can be detected by sonar equipment, but the devices have a battery life of around 30 days, which means ships hoping to locate the signal are already running out of time”, reports The Guardian. This adds pressure to the Chinese and Australian governments searching in conjunction to discover the missing aircraft. Chief Air Marshal Angus Houston spoke at a press conference about the ongoing search operations for missing Malaysia Airlines Flight; “We are now passed the battery life and as a consequence there is a chance that the locator beacon is about to cease transmission, or has ceased transmission,” reports to The Mirror. However, according to The Daily Mail he also revealed that: “searchers looking for the missing plane have discovered new signals consistent with those emitted by black box signals in the Southern Indian Ocean.”
