This year, me and a few of my uni girls decided to make the trip to Ibiza on a whim! We got a really good deal on one of these cheap holiday websites. Once it was all booked and confirmed, stupidly we took to Trip Advisor to look at reviews of our hotel. It was called Piscis Park, but little did we know, its Ibizan nickname was 'Pikey Park'. As you can imagine, we did not have high hopes post review reading. Once we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised, the food and drink were what you'd expect from a cheap all inclusive hotel in the centre of San-Antonio, so we coped.
This was the first time I had been to Ibiza. So one of my friends (who has previously visited the island), insisted that we head to Cafe Mambo's one night and sit on the rocks to view the sunset. So we did. It was stunning.

We peacefully watched the sun go down, with a glass of sangria each. When in Ibiza! I definitely recommend this, it is one of the hotspots of the Island, its busy and beautiful. This was one of the only nights we decided to relax, but after a few to many glasses of the Spanish Sangria the West End was on our minds, and we hit the strip!
The amount of British youngsters working in Ibiza was astounding! You couldn't sunbathe for two minutes without someone pestering you to buy some tickets. I did feel sorry for many of them, as they are just trying to earn money to supply their nights out in Ibiza. After the first ten people in the first hour, we decided to just tell everyone 'We're going home today, sorry!' This worked a treat! However, we did buy tickets to a boat party 'Lost in Ibiza', and I'm so glad we did this. We got a deal from a really nice Londoner, for a booze cruise followed by free entry to Sankeys. Perfect if you love house music, as it was the Dirty Bird opening that night. On the boat we travelled around the island as the sun was setting. It was honestly one of the best parts of my holiday. I felt like I was on a different planet with my beer in my hand, the wind in my hair, and the deep house pulsing through my body.
The last thing I want to tell you about is Ocean Beach Ibiza. We saved this event until our last day, as it had been a year since opening, and they were celebrating their first birthday. It was one of the most talked about events in Ibiza while we were there. It was such a classy place, with big round sun-loungers, hot waitresses, and champagne on tap. Well, for the ones that could afford it.
The sun-beds were three hundred euros each! Yes, you read it three hundred! They could fit four, and us being students, could not afford this. So we happily took to the table and chairs by the bar, which was convenient. We relaxed there with our strawberry and watermelon daiquiris and soaked up the Ibizan sun. Then, the place started to fill. We were surrounded by beautiful people all in their smart-poolside wear. I decided to wear a white ruffle bikini, with a pink orange and purple kaftan cover-up, with my hair down in a gentle beach wave, accompanied with some red lippy, of course. This wasn't just any old pool party, there was aerialists performing on the hour every hour. Ocean Beach Ibiza is partly owned by Wayne Lineker, so it wasn't a surprise to see him and Calum Best turn up and head straight to VIP. There we were, four poor students that couldn't afford a sun-bed, let alone VIP access. To our surprise, a representative approached us, she looked quite formal and she asked us if we wanted to go into VIP. We asked how much, and her reply was 'free, we need more girls in VIP', it was as though an angel just granted us the wish to fly. Our grins were from ear to ear, as she wrapped the wristbands around each of our wrists, we were all gleaming! We headed straight on over to VIP, each with a smug grin as we passed the bouncers with our wrists in the air. We were living the champagne lifestyle on a Lambrini budget! Drinks were flowing, with vodka bottles as big as cannons! We met Wayne Lineker and Calum Best, and they were both very friendly and welcoming as we giddily asked for a picture with them. Ocean Beach VIP was packed with celebrities, including Louis Smith, Jermain Defoe, and Denise Van Outen. But my favourite of all was Zoe Hardman. Here she is at The Look Show.
She was exactly as she appears on Take Me Out: The Gossip, funny, friendly and very genuine. We got speaking to her for a while, which I found very humbling, as we were just seen as her 'fans' but she really took the time to get to know us. Not to mention she looked amazing, she is a very glamorous lady indeed.
All in all, Ibiza was a life-fullfilling holiday, and I'd definitely return, even to our hotel. I hope I've done my best to get seven days into one post.

So, I've decided to start a blog. First of all... how can someone get in such a pickle deciding which blogging website to use? Second of all, which style design to go for, I've been here for hours before I've even started writing, honestly! Anyway, here I am. I am aiming to focus this blog on inspirational going-ons in my seesaw-like life. Some may be life-fullfilling posts, and no doubt some will be just the good old rant. Hopefully some of you souls out there will find it interesting! Bare with me, as I'm a blogging-fresher as you will, but I'm a quick learner! Thanks for reading!
